We're excited to see you at UU Youth Con 2019, February 15-16 at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. The Con will begin on Saturday at 12:30pm. and end on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. The cost of the Con is $40 per youth participant. To request a scholarship just reach out to your church's religious education staff. Adult chaperones/staff attend free.

YOUTH REGISTRATION
Note: You must be registered in the youth program of a participating congregation in order to attend the Con.
- Talk to your parent(s) or guardian(s) and get permission to attend the Con.
- Submit the online registration form (below) by Sunday, February 9.
- Tell a youth program staff person at your congregation that you will attend the Con by Sunday, February 9.
- Make sure you've turned in your congregation's youth participation and medical release form to your youth program staff.
- Turn in your $40 Con registration fee to your youth program staff, or let them know you need a scholarship.
ADULT VOLUNTEER/STAFF REGISTRATION
Note: You must be at least 25 years old to volunteer at the Con.
- Submit the online registration form (below) by Sunday, February 9.
- Complete your congregation's volunteer code of ethics agreement and background check by Sunday, February 9.
- Please direct any questions to your congregation's religious education or youth program lead staff.
EXPECTATIONS DURING THE CON (for Youth and Adults)
All participants agree to:
- Attend the entire Con, from Saturday, 12:30 pm to Sunday, 10:00 am. We are asking you to join us in a radical act of resistance: to demand time dedicated to spiritual development, self-care, and community-building in a culture that often expects constant productivity and packed schedules. You deserve this time. Help us protect it by committing to be present for the entire event.
- Stay in bounds. No going outside or to off-limits areas of the building for any reason.
- Respect yourself and others; this means we honor our own and others' bodies, feelings, identities, and property.
- Bring NO weapons, drugs, alcohol, e-cigarettes or tobacco to the Con. Any medications you bring must be in their original packaging.
- Sleep in the designated sleeping space of your choice, and respect others' choices. There will be an ALL GENDER sleeping space, as well as rooms for FEMALE-IDENTIFIED ONLY and MALE-IDENTIFIED ONLY. (A private sleeping room can be arranged; please request in the accessibility needs section of the registration form.)
- Refrain from sexual behavior at the Con. Do not share bedding, and leave visible floor space between your bedding and others' in the sleeping area.
- Participate and be present for all Con activities. Refrain from using your cell phone during Con workshops, worship, etc.
- Follow all reasonable requests of adult chaperones, staff and Con planners.
What to bring.
- Stuff that expresses you (might be a journal, a doodle pad, a board game, a ukelele or your signature hat)
- PJ's
- Toiletries (toothbrush, etc.) and any medications you need (in their original package)
- Clothes for Sunday morning
- Sleeping bag, pillow and pad (for sleeping on the floor)
- Personal snacks, if you want, but there will be plenty of food
- DO NOT bring alcohol, drugs, tobacco, e-cigarettes, weapons of any kind, or pets
